On September 28th, the DTES LAPP Planning group held a community-wide session called What We Heard, to report on feedback that had come to date through the area planning process. The City of Vancouver, Inner City Neighbourhood Coalition, and Ray-Cam Centre are pleased to present another opportunity for local residents of all ages to provide first input into how they would like to see their neighbourhoods develop.

CITY CONSIDERING HIGHER BUILDINGS IN D.T.E.S.
Vancouver’s City Council will consider a City staff report recommending that parts of Chinatown, Hastings Street west of Main, and other parts of the Downtown Eastside be rezoned to allow higher buildings to be built. At its meeting this Thursday, January 20, at 2:00 p.m., Council will hear public input and decide whether to adopt the report.
