Hello fellow Strathconians,

October’s meeting is unique for three reasons:

1. It’s on October 1st (weird but soon)
2. It’s our AGM (important voting and nominations, so come in person!)
3. It starts at 7 pm not at 7:15 (change is frightening, but this slight adjustment is manageable?)

Please mark you calendars now: SRA meeting and AGM, Wednesday October 1st at 7 pm sharp. (at the Strathcona Community Centre, 601 Keefer Street)

Hello Strathconians!
What a summer it’s been; real heat with lots of local events and festivals. Although the next few days look drab, here’s to at least a few more weeks of great weather and hanging out in the parks!
The SRA takes a break for the summer months, but September is just around the corner and our activity resumes. We would like to invite you to attend the next season’s first SRA meeting on Wednesday, September 3rd at 7:15 at the Strathcona Community Centre. Bring your neighbours, roommates and friends!

For the past two years Strathcona residents have been pressing the City to make Prior Street safer for local use.
We have written letters, held meetings, and protested.

The City has finally agreed to conduct an independent Road Safety Audit of Prior Street this summer. The results of this study could lead to short-term street safety improvements, plus influence neighbourhood road management when the viaducts come down. This is our chance to share our experiences and voice our concerns.
