BREAD & SALT: A tribute to the East End’s historic Ukrainian Community

This 85th Anniversary tribute interweaves oral history with live theatre and music, haunting choral singing and the driving rhythms of Ukrainian dance. Performed by a multi-generational cast of over sixty professional and community actors, singers, dancers and musicians and inspired by stories and memories from the East End’s historic Ukrainian community, “Bread & Salt” is co-written by Beverly Dobrinsky and Savannah Walling and incorporates writings by Clifford Odets, Helen Potrebenko, Ivan Franko and Taras Shevchenko.
