Our train noise and vibration complaint to the Canadian Transportation Agency will go to mediation on June 12. CN Rail is aware that we are seeking a full resolution to the issue that day and that we are prepared to request formal adjudication if the mediation session does not succeed.
To help our case, we’re trying to understand what the level of train disturbance was in 2005, right before it dropped to nearly zero. Did trains run at night, every night? Did they wake people up? What are the differences between train noise then and what we’re experiencing now?
More impact statements from residents would still be helpful. If you are affected by train noise (or if you can offer some legal help), please email email@example.com by June 7.
