Tree Talk with David Tracey

Strathcona Conversations is hosting an online talk about trees in Strathcona this coming Monday, January 17, at 7 PM, led by local tree expert David Tracey.

David Tracey is a writer, environmental designer and community ecologist who encourages people to connect with trees. An ISA-certified arborist since 2004, he was the founding executive director of Tree City which helped Vancouver residents plant more than 9,000 trees. He currently manages the Indigenous Land Stewardship program at Native Education College and is an adjunct professor for the School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture at UBC. His books include Guerrilla Gardening, The Earth Manifesto, the novel Miracle Tree and #1 BC Bestseller Vancouver Tree Book.
