Have Your Say! City would like to hear how St Paul's relocation might effect you

Sunday, May 22, 2016

Do you live or work near the proposed site of the new St. Paul's hospital?

Will your life be affected by the new St. Paul's hospital and health campus?

The City of Vancouver is developing a Policy Statement to guide future development of the New St. Paul’s Hospital and Health Campus, to be located near Station Street in the False Creek Flats (beside Pacific Central train station) — see map.

Have your say:

1. Online survey

2. Workshop Wednesday June 8, 7-9pm at Strathcona Community Centre.
Please RSVP for workshop
The workshop will be preceded with a presentation by City staff to describe where they are at in the timeline, workshop will include light refreshments.

As part of developing the Policy Statement, CommunityIMPACT Consulting is conducting a Social Impact Assessment for the City of Vancouver on the proposed site.

A Social Impact Assessment examines how a major development may affect the people living or working near it, at first and over time.

In addition to providing information which will help shape the New St. Paul's Policy Statement, the results of the Social Impact Assessment may be used to maximize positive impacts, mitigate negative impacts and monitor change over time associated with the development.

Be part of this process to identify the potential social impacts of this site! Give your personal input into what is important to you in the neighbourhood, what community assets and gaps exist and what your hopes and concerns are about the new hospital relocating to this area.
