Letter to Residents
Dear Residents,
This letter is to notify residents that soil testing drilling activities will occur on City of Vancouver owned property, along the north parking lanes of the 200, 300 and 400 Blocks of Prior Street (between Station Street and Jackson Avenue) from November 30, 2021 to December 3, 2021.Permits for conducting this work have been granted by the City of Vancouver.
This Work is scheduled between the hours of 7:30AM and 4:00PM from November 30 to December 3, 2021. As such, noise may be heard from your business and/or residence between these hours. The drilling program will be modified to minimize disturbances to commercial and residential properties in the vicinity of the work area, though some noise may be apparent within the surrounding areas.
Pinchin, the consultant completing the work, will ensure safe pedestrian access to all residences and storefronts within the work zone throughout the drilling program.
Additionally, parking spaces along the north side of Prior Street may be temporarily blocked on from November 29 to December 3, 2021, and December 6 to 8, 2021 to complete environmental investigation and sampling work. Every effort will be made to ensure the work is completed in a timely fashion to limit disruption.
