Strathcona is served by two community centres. The Strathcona Community Centre is located beside Lord Strathcona Elementary School. The Ray-Cam Co-operative Centre is located at Campbell and Hastings. See below for Information about facilities, programs and services
RAY-CAM CO-OPERATIVE CENTRE
920 E Hastings.
Ray-Cam Cooperative Centre is a centre for the old and young, a place for recreation and social activity where new skills can be learned. It provided family support services and has 2 day-care centers and out-of-school care for school-aged children. It’s a place where old friends meet and where new friends are made. It has a gym, a games room, a computer lab, after-school programs, evening programs, a senior’s lounge and family programs.
STRATHCONA COMMUNITY CENTRE

The SCC has offers programs for fitness, dance, music, basketball and martial arts geared to seniors, adults, teens, and children. It offers programs in Cantonese. It also offers afterschool programs for youth.
Strathcona Fitness Centre has cardio and strength training machines, indoor bicycles, free weights, and training props.
