The SCPC addressed a gap in training that the HELP program has long struggled to fill.  With the safety of our teams as our priority, the training has directly influenced how services are delivered, addressing safety concerns specific to work in the Downtown east side.  The team had very positive feedback on the course; they were able to ask questions and work through past real-life situations.  Having a community led solution that provides practical and relevant strategies to support safe service delivery has been invaluable
